CN2128 SE is a high-performance numerical control, with a 110/230 Vac power supply, PCI-E/PCI internal bus, and Windows 7 Embedded and Interval Zero RTX operating systems, that can be installed in a wall-mounted electrical enclosure.
It works connected to a supervisory unit via a dedicated Ethernet network; you can place the CNC in an electrical enclosure, managing remotely from the dashboard with the user interface. This system is particularly suited for large machines, that control a large number of axes (roughly up to 128 nodes), or require a high computing power to generate paths with complex algorithms.
The system can accommodate several fieldbuses, depending on the combinations of PCIe/PCI boards in the CN2128 SE. It is possible to connect more than one CN2128 SE to the same supervisory unit; this can provide a modular control system, particularly apt for a machine line or a large, complex working centre.
Albatros is the automation development and debugging environment (minimum v 3.2), hosted in the supervisory PC.
